Where do these prices come from?
Every forecourt in the UK must report its prices to the government's Fuel Finder scheme within 30 minutes of a change. We read the feed every 15 minutes and rebuild this page each morning.
Every UK forecourt reports its prices to the government's Fuel Finder scheme, for six grades: E10, E5, B7 standard, B7 premium, B10 and HVO.
We take every station in London and keep the latest price for each grade it sells.
"vs UK" compares each price with our UK average for the same grade: the mean across every forecourt with a price from the last 30 days.
Forecourts report a price when it changes, so a price can stay current for days. Ranked prices unchanged for over two days show how long. Prices older than 30 days are shown with their age and left out of the rankings. Stations that don't sell a grade are left out of that grade's list, not shown at zero.
